Soft & Abundant Wedding Flower Gardens in New Canaan, CT
Early June is the pinnacle of spring flowers in Fairfield County. Our access to peonies, garden roses, bearded irises, and ranunculus collide and provide an expansive landscape of flowers and foliage to design with. Kacie and Adam were given a preview of that floral abundance at their intimate family soiree at a private estate in New Canaan, CT. A symphonic array of pastel rainbow-hued flowers sprang to life to envelop Kacie and Adam in spectacular floral fashion.
During this late-spring day, the sun shone bright, spirits were high, and their family and friends surrounded the newlyweds in a veil of love and light as they began their next chapter as husband and wife.
A clear top tent sprang to life in the backyard of Kacie’s family home, buzzing energy was abound as the pristine spring garden party vision she and Adam shared came to life. The expert catering staff at Palmer’s set classic cream linens, paired with sky blue glasses; and Kelsie Elizabeth Photography worked with the couple to capture their sweet and candid reactions to finally seeing one another after a day apart.
For our part we brought an abundance of spring garden flowers to create stunning ceremony urns, a show stopping floating arch, along with lush centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. The details were beginning to bubble to the surface and the bride and groom giddily hid in the house excited to see their wedding venue evolve.
Kacie and Adam elected to work with Three Roots and our network of Connecticut flower farms to build a spring-centric design suite highlighting the best in seasonally available flowers and foliage. Our anchor flower was peonies, a favorite of Kacie’s and the star of both her bouquet and their ceremony arch. Working with Green Moneky Peony, we were able to source more than 8 different cream varieties to create depth within Kacie’s vision for a timeless white peony bouquet.
The arch was lovingly crafted by our entire team and was built around a base of blueberry foliage in stunning emerald green hues, an ideal foil to the soft pastel hues of the bearded irises, peonies, and garden roses intermingled in the composition. The centerpieces for Kacie & Adam’s wedding were brimming with floral jewels, and their reception tables were filled with miniature gardens. Late-season ranunculus danced with spray roses and fluttered with greenery, a demure pastel rainbow for each guest table.
As the evening sky began to pepper the twilight with sparkling stars, Kacie and Adam took to the dance floor and spent their reception engaged in a lively party centered around their love story. In the presence of their nearest and dearest, their fairytale wedding day flowed late into the spring night.
