Electric Raspberry Lemonade Inspired Garden Designs at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT
Vivacious and artful are these two, and their joy-filled wedding day at Wadsworth Mansion will long serve as a team favorite. Intentional and abundant floral designs were artfully placed around the Wadsworth Mansion to ensure florals were present to elevate the environment without overcrowding the guest experience.
A summer-oriented color palette of vibrant pinks and glowing yellows, softly accented by creams and greens, was the ideal palette for Irena and Tyler’s special wedding day. Capitalizing on the height of American (and Connecticut) flower season, Three Roots utilized a dazzling array of locally and domestically grown flowers.
Irena’s bouquet was a flower-forward garden triumph, boasting soft blush dahlias, electric and zingy yellow garden roses, fluttering lacey hydrangea, and floating scabiosa. The floral design party continued to the ceremony, where the newlyweds were framed by bespoke bowl arrangements overflowing with rudbeckia and autumn olive; the compositions framed their union against the expansive Wadsworth grounds. The local flower party didn’t end there! After the ceremony, the pieces were moved to the head table to ground the couple’s table with the other floral elements. Guest tables were dressed with delicate bud vases boasting dahlias, rudbeckia, garden roses, and other seasonal highlights.
The two danced the night away with their nearest and dearest, laughing and smiling, a true testament to their beautiful spirits.
The talented Trisha Keeler effortlessly captured their wedding day.
A note from the couple:
The flowers Shannon and her team crafted and created were an absolute summer dream. From seeing her previous work, I knew I could trust Shannon to take the lead and boy, I was not disappointed. Her dedication to her business and sustainability through prioritizing American grown flowers distinguishes her from other floral companies and brought me joy to support an admirable business like hers. I still cannot get over how beautiful her creations were - flower crown, centerpieces, bouquet… I highly recommend her to anyone looking for one of a kind florals for their
